I think people are way too damn blind to actual issues in America. Yes, these issues happen alot in other places, but people in America act like they dont go on here.

Wow, some of the people on here are complete dicks. People like to treat the youth like shit and think we know nothing, not realizing that they were our age once before. I thought it was funny how he talked shit on poli-sci classes, when my poli-sci classes forced us to debate and write papers and read Newsweek every week. Yep, I know nothing.
I like America. There are so many more crappy countries than here. But right now, things are rather shitty. Everyone has someone to blame. Blame the Muslims, the illegal immigrants (who I don't really like very much either), Obama, immorality, anything. God forbid we look at ourselves and try to make our own lives better instead of complaining all the damn time. I lost thousands of dollars because our government can't afford grants for college students, but we're paying for a war. We glorify violence but say that sex is evil and immoral. It's just ridiculous. I like what you had to say because it's HONEST. God forbid I think my father, a volunteer firefighter, is a hero, and I don't run all over the place kissing the ground soldiers walk on. Do I respect them? Of course. But they tell you to worship Jesus and soldiers and government or get out. I literally had someone tell that to me once and I was appalled.
